The assisted living concept centers are increasing as America ages. At Bickford Cottage they provide residential apartment living for those who are no longer able to live alone, but want just the right amount of assistance without intrusive interference in their active lives. So care is given according to need, not a one solution fits all attitude. This allows every senior to live their own life and get just the right amount of attention. Bickford cottage in Moline will have 28 assisted living apartments. Besides these apartments, four Alzheimer's units will also be available.

Entrance Community Fee
This is a fee charged to every resident who moves into Bickford Cottage and it is a one time charge to pay for improvements and maintenance of the common areas, furnishings, equipment, grounds and exterior.
MONTHLY SERVICES - LEVELS OF ASSISTANCE & ROOM RATE
Monthly cost depends on the room size and level of assistance required by the client. So if the client has the largest room and needs constant help they will pay a higher fee than someone with a different level of service in the same room. The monthly fee will also vary by the size of room.

Billing is monthly, rental agreement can be cancelled for any reason by giving 30 day notification. Rent includes basic utilities, maintenance, housekeeping and laundry. You bring your furniture, keepsakes, tv, stereo; whatever you want in your room. Each apartment has a private bathroom, walk in shower, kitchenette, emergency call system, temperature control and locking doors. Pets are welcome. Three dietician planned meals are prepared daily and snacks are always available. Special dietary needs can be accommodated. There is a monthly Resident Council meeting to help guide and plan your ife of enrichment programs and menu planning. Wheelchairs and walkers are not a problem.
AMENITIES INCLUDED:
24 hour certified staff. RN's, LPN's and aids are all certified. Quarterly health assessments performed by the Registered Nurse, Home cooked meals with tableside service, personal laundry, housekeeping, planned activities, unlimited use of the common areas, Chaplain Services, bible study and worship.
PERSONAL CARE - CERTIFIED STAFF - ASSISTANCE AS NEEDED
As needed, dressing and grooming assistance, bathing assistance, beauty salon, bladder and bowel management, 24 hour supervision and memory care, coordination with psychiatric care, and spiritual services. Individualized services from minimum to intensive. RN on staff and on call 24 hours a day. Complete medical records, health evaluation every 90 days. The apartments are handicap accessible and transfers and ambulation assistance is available as well as exercise programs. A 24 hour pharmacy, oral and topical treatment administration and medical dose assistance and reminders. Bickford Cottages will also coordinate Physician, Dentist and Podiatrist visits and rehabilitation and range of motion therapy.
